Back 20 + years ago when you wanted to go camping. By the time you got to the campground and to your campsite. It was almost dark and you would set up your tent with the use of your car head lights.
But that isn’t the stressful part of the camping trip. What made it stressful the equipment we had to work with. And when I say equipment I mean “The Tent”, The way tents were made you had to assemble everything. One pole piece fit into another and so on. Then in the dark you had to make heads and tails of which piece goes where.
Once you got it set up enough to crawl into it and sleep. You worried about the details the next morning in the daylight. Assembling the tent was every bit of 45 minutes if not longer.
Now the modern day tent Thank God! You can almost unzip it from it’s carrying bag and throw it up in the air and when it lands, it is up. As if there is any stress in camping.

Sitting by the Water – Even if your not into sun tanning. Like me I’m not a person that will just sit and try to get a tan. Read a Book – Yes you can read a book at home. But being outside or even in the tent where it is quiet. This is so relaxing. in fact so relaxing that I can read the same chapter many times. Fishing – Some may say fishing is not relaxing. But I would disagree, for me it is one of the most relaxing things when I go camping.
